SMS Opt-In and Messaging Policy
Last updated: May 21, 2026
AOG Vision uses SMS text messages to deliver operational notifications related to logistics jobs and shipments. This page explains who receives our SMS messages, what they contain, how to opt in, and how to opt out. We comply with the requirements of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ("TCPA"), the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and our messaging provider's (Twilio's) Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Program description
Program name: AOG Vision Operational Notifications
Operated by: Vision AOG LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company (d/b/a AOG Vision)
Website: visionaog.com
Contact: [email protected]
2. Types of messages you may receive
Recipients of AOG Vision SMS notifications may receive transactional and operational messages including:
- Driver assignment confirmations
- Pickup and delivery status updates
- Real-time tracking link delivery
- Estimated time of arrival ("ETA") changes
- Proof-of-delivery confirmations
- Shipment exception alerts (delays, weather, route changes)
SMS is not used for account login, password reset, or two-factor authentication. Account access and security are handled through the web application using time-based authenticator apps (TOTP) and email — never SMS — so SMS subscription is never required to use AOG Vision.
We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. All SMS sent through AOG Vision is operational in nature.
3. Message frequency
Frequency varies depending on the activity of your account and the jobs you are associated with. A typical user may receive between 2 and 15 messages per active shipment. There is no fixed cap; messages are triggered by real-time logistics events.
4. How to opt in
SMS subscription is entirely optional. End users may consent to receive SMS messages from AOG Vision through one of three documented opt-in paths, all of which require explicit affirmative action and none of which are required to use the service:
- Public opt-in form: Any individual may visit visionaog.com/sms-opt-in, enter their mobile phone number, and check the consent box. The consent disclosure shown directly next to the checkbox reads: "I agree to receive transactional SMS messages from AOG Vision regarding shipment status, driver assignments, ETAs, and delivery confirmations. SMS notifications are optional. I can use AOG Vision without subscribing to SMS, and consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on shipment activity. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. My mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes."
- Customer tracking link: When a recipient is given a public tracking link for a specific shipment, they may optionally enter their phone number on the tracking page to receive SMS status updates for that shipment. They must check a consent box reading: "Send me SMS updates for this shipment. Reply STOP to opt out." Entering a phone number is not required to view the tracking page.
- Inbound text opt-in: Users who have already been issued credentials by their employer may text START or SUBSCRIBE to our long code to confirm SMS enrollment.
Opt-in records (timestamp, IP address, user identifier, phone number, user-agent, and consent text shown) are stored in our database. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, account creation, or service.
5. How to opt out
You may opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message you receive from AOG Vision. After you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS will be sent to that number.
You may opt back in at any time by replying START or by contacting us at [email protected].
6. Help
Reply HELP to any AOG Vision SMS message to receive a response with our contact information and a link to this policy. For additional support, email [email protected].
7. Carriers and message rates
Message and data rates may apply. AOG Vision is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages caused by your wireless carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Mobile information collected for the purpose of sending SMS notifications — including phone numbers and opt-in status — will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. SMS consent is not transferable to any other party. We share phone numbers only with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) and with the dispatcher or organization that originated your job. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
9. Eligibility
AOG Vision SMS notifications are intended for users 18 years of age or older. By providing your phone number, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you are the account holder or an authorized user of the phone number provided.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this SMS Opt-In policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
